Skaters Roles/Responsibilities 

1. Helmet must be worn at all times. 

2. Skating attire must be worn (no jeans, long scarves, etc.) 

3. Look both ways when leaving the boards 

4. Skaters must get up promptly after a fall, unless seriously injured 

5. Promote good sportsmanship by encouraging fellow skaters and respecting their work time on the ice. 

6. Clear ice promptly after the end of a session. 

7. Look in the direction of travel when skating backwards 

8. No pushing, playing tag or other horse play 

9. No gum, candy on the ice
