STAR 3 Elements

No Age Requirements
Open to skaters who are working on STAR 1 skills.

STAR 4 Program

Skaters can be any age.
Team consists of 8-16 skaters.
All skaters must have successfully completed STAR 1 Skills for this team by competition. 

Skaters will compete at both the Elizabeth Swan competition at the Mount Pearl - Paradise Double Ice Complex on  January 31st, 2026 as well as the Provincial Synchro Competition in Torbay at the Jack Byrne Arena March 14-15, 2026. Teams are judged on the quality of elements (not difficulty) and ranked.

STAR 6 Program

75% of skaters must not have reached the age of 13 by July 1, 2025.                          25% of skaters must not have reached the age of 15 by July 1, 2025.                      Teams consist of 8-16 skaters.                                                                                 Skaters must have passed their Star 1 Skills.

Skaters will compete at both the Elizabeth Swan competition at the Mount Pearl - Paradise Double Ice Complex on  January 31st, 2026 as well as the Provincial Synchro Competition in Torbay at the Jack Byrne Arena March 14-15, 2026.

STAR 8 Program

Skaters must not have reached the age of 18 as of July 1 preceding the competition.
Team consists of 8-16 skaters
Skaters must have passed STAR 5 skills to be eligible to try out.

Skaters will compete at both the Elizabeth Swan competition at the Mount Pearl - Paradise Double Ice Complex on  January 31st, 2026 as well as the Provincial Synchro Competition in Torbay at the Jack Byrne Arena March 14-15, 2026. Teams are given a ranking/compete against other teams.

Novice Program

TP Inferno

Teams consist of 12 to 16 skaters.                                                                            Skaters must not have reached the age of 16 before July 1, 2025.

Skaters will compete at both the Elizabeth Swan competition at the Mount Pearl - Paradise Double Ice Complex on  January 31st, 2026 as well as the Provincial Synchro Competition in Torbay at the Jack Byrne Arena March 14-15, 2026.

Adult 3 Program

TP Rusty Edges

Skaters must have reached the age of 18 before July 1, 2025

Skating skills requirements with video examples will be shared with adults prior to tryouts.

Skaters will compete at both the Elizabeth Swan competition at the Mount Pearl - Paradise Double Ice Complex on  January 31st, 2026 as well as the Provincial Synchro Competition in Torbay at the Jack Byrne Arena March 14-15, 2026.
