🧡 Volunteers Make Our Club Stronger! ⛸️
The Trinity Placentia Figure Skating Club is proud to be a volunteer-supported organization. So much of what we are able to offer our skaters throughout the season is made possible by parents, skaters, families and community members who generously give their time. We are always looking for volunteers, and every bit of help makes a difference!
⭐ Pre-CanSkate & CanSkate
Our younger skaters benefit so much from the support of our older skaters. STAR and Podium Pathway skaters are encouraged to volunteer their time to assist our professional coaches during Pre-CanSkate and CanSkate sessions as Club Program Assistants.
Whether it’s demonstrating skills, helping younger skaters or simply being an extra set of hands on the ice, our older skaters play an important role in helping our newest skaters learn and have fun!
🎖️ Competitions & Skating Events
Throughout the skating season, our club may host competitions and other skating events.
These events require volunteers to help with things such as registration, hospitality, music, runners, and fundraising activities.
You don’t need any skating experience to help! Even an hour or two of your time can make a huge difference in keeping these events running smoothly.
🎓 Volunteer & Career Hours
Students looking to complete volunteer or career hours are welcome to volunteer with TPFSC. If you’re interested, please reach out to us for more information.
⛸️ Annual Ice Show
Our annual ice show is always a highlight of the skating season, but it takes a lot of volunteers behind the scenes to make it happen!
Volunteers are needed to help with CanSkate groups, costumes, skater organization and communication, fundraising tables, and ice-show setup and cleanup.
A volunteer sign-up will be shared closer to the show with opportunities to get involved.

From helping a little skater learn a new skill to making sure an event runs smoothly, every volunteer helps make a difference.
There is something pretty special about watching our skaters grow and succeed and knowing that our skating community helped make it possible. ⛸️🧡
